Entry for the 2D Game Jam!

Only had about 2 days free out of the 7 but the theme was too cool so I joined anyway :). Was a great opportunity to experiment with time in Godot since I just started using Godot.

I usually use a ton of assets so having to draw everything (which I NEVER do) myself was very challenging. It was interesting, kinda made me want to start learning pixelart for real.

Overall it was great and I'm pretty happy with the game, got some cool mechanics. Just lacked a bit of time to design more varied puzzles.

Enjoy!

HTML export bugs - just noticed them last minute after uploading the game :

  • Particle system doesn't work at all, nothing shows up.
  • Ugly gray screen between each level.

Edit : re-exported my build differently and particles work now :)

Fun mechanics and interesting levels, especially considering the amount of time effort. several feedbacks:

1. Right now the hitbox feels too unforgiving, at least for me. There are several levels that I knew the solution but was struggling on execution. I guess this is not your intention of the game?

2. Moonwalk is bit confusing, at least at the time when it is introduced to the game.

Great work.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Yes, the hitboxes bothered me too but after playtesting the levels a bunch of times I got used to them so I ended up forgetting to fix them. Gotta make them more fair.

For the first moonwalk level I just realized that it's actually bugged from someone posting a video (there's supposed to be 2 tutorials on that level, but the first one doesn't appear in the web version!)
